We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Nizhoni Rhoads to the position of KidsCare Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County. Nizhoni has been an invaluable member of our team since May 2024, serving as the KidsCare Supervisor. A graduate of Manchester University, Nizhoni holds a double major in Educational Studies and Public Relations and is currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology.
Her professional journey began in social work, where she dedicated over three years to supporting families involved with DCS. This experience fueled her passion for creating lasting changes in child development, ultimately leading her to her current role at the Boys and Girls Club. When she is not in the office, Nizhoni enjoys exploring trails, spending time with her pets, and indulging in a good book. As Nizhoni takes on her new role as KidsCare Director, we invite you to join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion.
Meanwhile, we are excited to announce that our KidsCare program is now open for registration for the upcoming school year. Designed to provide safe, convenient, and enriching before and after-school programs for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-12), the KidsCare is a division of Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County that focuses on various key areas such as homework help, health and fitness, science and nature, arts and crafts, free time, and character and leadership development.
KidsCare programs focus on six key areas to provide an array of enrichment activities including Homework Help and Reading, Health and Fitness, Science and Nature, Arts and Crafts, Free Time, and Character and Leadership Development. Our quality programs are designed to enrich and entertain while developing your child’s self-esteem, confidence and concern for others.
