Local companies win Fan Favorite and Judges' Favorite titles.
Another BBQ & Brew Fest is in the books, and once again, local companies and organizations impressed the community with their burger-grilling skills. L & W Engineering won the 2020 Fan Favorite title by raising the most money for Boys & Girls Clubs. For the second year in a row, Reschcor took home the Judge's Favorite title. They first won the title in 2019 with their Caramel Apple Burger. This year, they wowed the judges again, this time with a Philly Cheesesteak Burger.
If you missed BBQ & Brew Fest, don't despair. You can try the winning burger at 41 Degrees North, in Middlebury, during the entire month of September. The burger is a "Philly Knockout" Philly Cheese Steak-style seasoned smash burger on a toasted brioche bun topped with Cheese Whiz, provolone, and seasoned onions and green peppers.
Thanks to all the grill teams, sponsors, and attendees who came out for BBQ & Brew Fest and made it another great year. Proceeds from the event benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County's Middlebury and Elkhart Clubs.
