BBQ & Brew Fest is a community event featuring live music performances , awesome food, craft beer, a full service open bar, and more.
Enjoy stellar musical performances from fan-favorite David Evans, plus newcomers Surf Inc. Band and Little Something Band. Nosh on catering and quench your thirst with craft beer by local brewers and libations from the full-service open bar. Taste burgers prepared by over a dozen local teams representing businesses and organizations from around the county and cast votes for your favorites as they compete in the 2020 Grill Masters Burger Competition! The event also includes axe throwing, a silent auction, and a cash raffle!
BBQ & Brew Fest includes a child-safe, alcohol-free zone. Activities for families and children are available throughout the day and including an evening outdoor big screen movie showing on the lawn of the beautiful Farmstead Inn.With VIP Wristbands priced at just $75 for adults, $40 for Designated Drivers, $20 for students, and children 12 and under admitted free, BBQ & Brew Fest truly offers something for everyone.
2020 Grill Masters Burger Competition
Watch as teams representing businesses and companies from around the county compete for the title of “2020 Grill Master” while raising funds to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County’s Middlebury and Elkhart Clubs.
A panel of local celebrity judges will determine the Judges' Favorite Award winner by sampling burgers on the day of the event. However, the public controls which team walks away with the title of Fan Favorite! Vote online at: https://givegrove.com/2020bbq/vote/

COVID-19 Safety at BBQ & Brew Fest
The event team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County takes event safety very seriously. We are working hard to ensure BBQ & Brew Fest is the safest event it can be. We've limited the number of tickets available, made provisions for social distancing, and will have a large number of safety precautions in place on the day of the event. In addition, we submitted a detailed event safety plan to health and safety officials in LaGrange County, which received official approval. You can download your copy of the safety plan here.
Safety precautions include:
- Temperature/Wellness Checks
- Attendee Management (If attendance exceeds 250 participants, the event space will be divided into separate activity spaces and no more than 250 participants will be allowed in a designated space at one time.)
- Social Distancing
- Facial Covering Guidelines (including 600 masks available for any participant requiring one or needing a new sterile mask.)
- Sanitizing Procedures (There will be 10 hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue, along with 2 handwashing stations outside of the sinks in the restrooms. Restrooms will be sanitized throughout the event with spray and participants will be encouraged to use sanitizer stations and wash their hands during the event. Any lines will have social distancing guidelines marked to encourage participants to stay 6 ft. apart.)
