    Boys & Girls Club Provides Hundreds of Meals a Day During Spring Break

    In regular communication with Goshen Community Schools, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County's Goshen Area Director, Tanner Pickett, recognized an opportunity to support and supplement the school’s food program to Goshen students.

    The Goshen team pulled together to provide meals and snacks for Club members and others who may benefit. The Goshen team is serving over 400 meals and 400 snacks each scheduled time throughout Spring Break: two days this week and each day next week.
    The meals will be distributed ‘drive-thru’ fashion so cars can pull alongside the Boys & Girls Clubs bus. This will offer some protection from weather and allow staff to practice social distancing with a chance to see our Club members and families.

    Meal packs also include an invitation for teens to check CLUBatHome for virtual hangouts with their favorite Club staff, as well and fun, safe activities for younger Club members to try at home. Check out this video invitation for our youth to stop by and receive a meal!
